Molly Murillo is a scenic carpenter based in Chicago with a passion for building, painting, and bringing stories to life through theatre. She enjoys every part of the production process, from drafting and construction to the finishing details that complete a set.

Her experience includes advanced scenic carpentry, basic scenic painting, MIG welding, and rigging. She also has experience training and coaching post-graduate apprentices in the scene shop while continuing to grow her own skills alongside them.

This fall, Molly will begin pursuing her BA in Theatre Design, Production, and Technology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. When she's not in the shop, she enjoys spending time at the lake, hiking, CrossFit, and playing soccer.
